EXTRAORDINARY

Outfit details: Top: Forever 21 (similar) / Shorts: Old Navy / Shoes: Sperry Top-Sider (love THIS) / Necklace: (Rainbows - old) / Crossbody bag: Vintage Coach / Headband: Boutique (similar) / Sunglasses: Coach - Samantha

Why "extraordinary" you ask? Because, I rarely wear black and white and my visit to Old San Juan was, well, EXTRAORDINARY.  I implore all of you my lovely readers if my pictures doesn't convince you, please google image or just click on THIS link and remember to pick your jaw of the floor, and try to fight the urge to whip out your credit and book the next flight to Puerto Rico.

Even though I have visited Puerto Rico multiple times, I have never been to Old San Juan, yes it's true. Every time I am in Puerto Rico I am usually there for a shopping trip, a concert or to catch a flight (it's a lot cheaper to flight to mainland US or Europe from Puerto Rico or St. Thomas) and I have never ventured into Old San Juan. For the Easter weekend after a little mix up with an appointment my husband and I decided to explore Old San Juan, and let me tell you, it's unreal! It's beautiful, it's breathtaking, it's all kinds of wonderful and a lot more. I fell in love with the history of the area and the brightly colored buildings that line the beautiful blue cobblestone streets. I can go on and on about Old San Juan!!

We visited the Two Forts, El Morro and San Cristóbal, both are a wealth of history and everything is so well preserved. Since it was Easter lots of families were out flying kites and having picnics and my husband and I flew kites, ate food we wouldn't usually eat, but we let go and we had an amazing time. It's an absolutely beautiful place and I can wait wait to go back.

MINI SKIRT & SNAKE PRINT

Outfit details: Top: Express (similar) / Skirt: Express (great option HERE & HERE) / Shoes: (old - Kardashian Kollection) love THIS pair / Bag: (worn as clutch) Vintage Coach / Bracelet: Pandora / Watch: BCBGeneration / Necklace: Gift

Hello!! I hope everyone is having a great week. Just stopping by to share this outfit I wore almost a month ago. I know I have mentioned before how much I love wearing things in my closet that haven't been worn much, and this pair of sandals from the Kardashian Kollection is one of them, I bought it about 2 years ago and probably wore it twice. I don't even understand why because it is so lovely and the print is subtle and beautiful. Also, this vintage coach handbag from 1989, I've been searching for, for a really long time, (I have a personal reason why it was so important that I find this exact one) I was lucky enough to score it on Poshmark from a lovely seller.

CHAMBRAY + FLORAL

Outfit details: Shirt: Loft (similar) / Skirt: Loft (similar) / Shoes: Aldo / Handbag: Tory Burch / Sunglasses: Coach

The weather here has been so cool lately, I am really enjoying it. When I saw this shirt on the rack at the Loft store, I had to have it. It is described as a softened chambray and it definitely is, the material is very light and soft and since it doesn't look too much like denim, it was great to pair with a pencil skirt for work.

When I go shopping with my husband and brother in law, they tend to walk into a store and whatever's on the mannequin they try to convince me to purchase, (I'm guessing it's a ploy to get me out of the store as quickly as possible) I don't always take the bait because I am always searching for a deal, but in this case, I fell in love with the shirt and skirt and both came home with me.

Happy Monday guys xoxo

BLUE & ORANGE

Outfit details: Shirt: Forever 21 (love this printed one) / Pants: Loft (similar) / Wedge: Jessica Simpson (love this pair) / Handbag: Angela & Roi (here & here) / Watch: Invicta Angel / Sunglasses: Coach / Bracelets: H&M and Pandora / Necklace: old, from a boutique in Brooklyn

Blue and orange is one of my favorite color combos, and it is also my Alma mater's colors, which makes this outfit perfect for game day. I love how bold those two colors are and it definitely makes one stand out. I last wore this shirt here and again it was quite a bright combo :-)

What do you guys have planned for Christmas? What's on your Christmas list? Hubby and I are planning to have a very chilled out Christmas, last year we spent Christmas and New Years in Miami and it was incredible. I have been attending lots of holiday parties and eating and drinking my fair share of goodies. Lots of outfits coming up. Have a fab week!!

COLORFUL STRIPES

Outfit details: Shirt: Old Navy / Skirt: Loft (similar) / Shoes: Jessica Simpson (sold out) / Necklace: Forever 21 / Sunglasses: Coach / Watch: Invicta / Bracelet: H&M

These photos were taken a few weeks ago; with traveling and work I somehow forgot to post them, so here they are. Better late than never right? Right!

It's no secret that I love stripes and I especially love pairing it with different patterns and prints however, I played it safe with this outfit by combining this multi color striped skirt with a neutral blouse and playing up my outfit with standout accessories and shoes.

IN BLOOM

The moment I laid eyes on this dress I was in love, it was the perfect blend of colors for me and I couldn't wait to wear it! The fabric is so soft and the fit is perfect. I went a little matchy-matchy with this outfit because when I saw it at the store I immediately thought of my Aldo Hosey peep toe pumps. This dress has already become a favorite and I know I will be wearing it a lot. I hope you're all having a relaxing Saturday.

TURN ON THE BRIGHTS

I have mentioned before that I don't have a favorite color, and that's true, however I do have a soft spot for a few colors and orange is one of them. Not only is it one of my alma mater's colors (Go Broncos) I've been told it's a great color on me. One of my favorite color combination is orange and pink, the colors together are so summery and cheerful. I love colors that compliment my skin tone and all these colors together do just that. I can't tell you guys how much I love anything bright and my closet is not short of it.
