I love this shirt dress so much! Whilst browsing through a mall in Miami a few months ago, my husband saw this beautiful dress and bought it for me -- he won major husband points. I wanted to wear the dress off the rack, since I was obsessed it with. The weather here has been crazy hot lately so for my God daughter's graduation this little number was a great pick. I am also totally obsessed with this necklace my friends gifted to me.

HOLIDAY WHITES
Happy Holidays guys! I hope you guys enjoyed the holidays with your families. My husband and I decided to stay on the rock for Christmas and have our family over for dinner. My mother-in-law did the New Years cooking. We had such a wonderful time, lots of food, drinks, games and laughter. Overall, we had a wonderful holidays, I ate too much but it was the holiday season so who's complaining :-)
I love holiday whites, this dress from Lulus has been sitting in my closet waiting to be worn. Since the office is usually pretty slow during the holidays, I decided to go a bit casual with this look and paired this gorgeous dress with my favorite "chanel-esque" flats from Zara which was mentioned in my "currently craving" list from October.
Wishing you all a blessed and happy 2015. On another note, I am happy to be back blogging, looking forward to blogging more in 2015 and hoping that sea blast doesn't destroy this laptop --island problems.

WHAT TO WEAR: WORK STYLE
Dress: Mango / Necklace: Sole Society / Handbag: Tory Burch / Shoes: Sole Society / Lipstick: Mac 'Sheen Supreme' New Temptation
Blazer: Oasis / Skirt: Dorothy Perkins / Cami: TopShop / Necklace: Zara / Handbag: Zara / Shoes: Asos
Shirt: Uniqlo / Sweater: Fat Face / Pants: HM / Shoes: Sole Society / Earrings: HM / Bracelet: HM
Even though I now live in the always sunny, sometimes rainy islands, I love when December rolls around because it gets a bit cooler and I can wear a light sweater, makes me feel like I am back in US. I miss fall, I should also mention it's my favorite time of the year. While all three looks can be fall appropriate with the addition of a pair of tights and a jacket I decided to create the last look with the chunky cable knit sweater because I really miss a cozy chunky sweater. The few I kept are hanging in my closet waiting for me to visit my family so they can come out to play.

CUT OUT BACK
I am the kind of girl that will get dressed up to go to the grocery store, I am such a girly girl! I love getting dolled up every chance I get. However, sometimes there's not much going on here so all my pretty dresses don't get worn as much as I would like. I am always happy whenever something comes up that requires me to wear something a bit fancy. I wore this outfit to a girls nights out when my best friend was visiting, and since it was still the holidays I decided that red and green was fitting :-)

WRAPPED - HAPPY HOLIDAYS
I wore this outfit to attend my husband's office Christmas dinner. I didn't want to wear a dress so I opted for a nice pair of jeans and this beautiful bow back blouse, I have been dying to wear and finished off the look with rose gold and black accessories.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. Enjoy time spent with family and friends and thank you all for taking the time to read my blog, I appreciate all of you. I am definitely looking forward to being surrounded by family and friends and the laughs and good times that will follow. So, eat up, drink up and celebrate with your love ones. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! xoxo

FEELING BLUE
Outfit details: Shirt: similar/ Jeans: Levi's / Sandals: Zara (sold out) great options here & here / Necklace: Gift / Bracelets; H&M and Pandora / Clutch: (old) purchased via ebay a few years ago
In keeping with all the holiday activities I've been attending, I wore this outfit to my God daughter's Christmas concert. It was the cutest little concert I've ever attended and my little pumpkin did so well. I've had this shirt for a while, I purchased it on my last trip to New York and it was perfect to wear to the concert since it was raining quite a lot and the 'christmas breeze' was definitely blowing. Whenever I am going to be around my God daughter I always try to dress as comfortably and kid friendly as possible because she is a busy three year old.
Can you guys believe Christmas is just around the corner? I am so excited, I love Christmas. I am looking forward to cooking a huge dinner and having friends and family over to celebrate with us.

MODERN RETRO
Why Modern Retro you ask? Because this dress reminds me of the 1950's, the pin dots / polka dots, the gathered swing skirt, fitted waist and square neckline, all remind me of a time I wish I was swing dancing. But since I didn't exist in that time period I can add a little modern twist to a classic style. I also decided to go with red lips (my all time favorite red lipstick is Mac's Ruby Woo) which is so 1950's pin up and truly timeless, classic and elegant. I wore this outfit to work with my Zara sandals instead of pumps because I wanted to add that modern twist to a retro looking dress.
